{"id":20724,"date":"2024-06-19T10:01:56","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T17:01:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/casi-acms.com\/?p=20724"},"modified":"2025-06-25T08:50:53","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T15:50:53","slug":"announcing-a-restructuring-of-the-association","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/casi-acms.com\/casi-news\/announcing-a-restructuring-of-the-association\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing A Restructuring of the Association"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/casi-acms.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/30_Logo_Leaf_Blue30.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20727\" style=\"width:144px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A New Chapter for CASI-ACMS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"lede\">Collingwood, Ontario \u2013 June 19, 2024 \u2013 The Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI), a leader in snowboard instructor training and certification, announced today a strategic restructuring of its operational framework aimed at improving efficiency, enhancing member\/industry relations and program development as well as better supporting CASI\u2019s strategic initiatives as they fulfill their mission statement of \u201cinspiring the world\u2019s best snowboard instruction\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this reorganization, CASI will be realigning its operational staff to augment its focus on the <em>Three Trails of Excellence <\/em>as outlined in the<em> <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/casi-acms.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/CASI-STRAT-PLAN-2024.pdf\"><em>2023-26 Strategic Plan<\/em><\/a>. The key changes include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Leadership Appointments:<\/strong> CASI is pleased to announce the following leadership updates:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Genevi\u00e8ve Pilotto<\/strong>, previously Program Director, will now serve as <strong>Director of Education &amp; Programs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cathy Genge<\/strong>, previously Senior Manager, Admin &amp; Operations, will now serve as <strong>Director of Admin &amp; Finance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Andrew McCraney<\/strong>, previously Regional Coordinator (Ontario \/ Manitoba \/ Saskatchewan) will now serve as <strong>Director of Program Operations<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Operations Team Updates<\/strong>: The restructuring will also involve updating operational roles to enhance efficiency and provide optimal member service and programming:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rob Whelan<\/strong>, previously Communications Coordinator, will now serve as <strong>Communications &amp; Engagement Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adam Gardner<\/strong>, previously Regional Coordinator, Alberta \/ BC-East, will now serve as <strong>Program Manager (West).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lisa Corcoran<\/strong>, previously BC Admin Coordinator, will now serve as <strong>Program Admin Coordinator (West)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Luc B\u00e9langer<\/strong>, previously Regional Coordinator (Quebec \/ Atlantic), will now serve as <strong>Program Manager (Quebec \/ Atlantic)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lewis Hopps<\/strong>, previously National Membership Administrator, will now serve as <strong>Membership Admin Coordinator<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To round out the new structure, recruiting for a third <strong>Program Manager <\/strong>(Ontario \/ Manitoba \/ Saskatchewan) is underway.
