Workshop description (from their Interski website) : <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The focus in this workshop is usage and overcoming of snow resistance. Understanding the interaction between snowboard and snow is at the base of an efficient snowsport\u2019s lesson and therefore central in teacher training “.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We were given an example of how this is taught during their courses, during a lesson on turns.\u00a0Our session leader asked us to think about these four stages and what we do with them and how we apply them in our riding :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1.Snow resistance
2.Searching
3.Overcoming
4.Using<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We paired up and gave ourselves some feedback about the application of each stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the conclusion we also talked about the movement patterns involving indirect movement with the upper body and direct movement with the lower body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On nous a donn\u00e9 un exemple de la fa\u00e7on dont cela est enseign\u00e9 pendant leurs cours, lors d’une le\u00e7on sur les virages.\u00a0Notre animateur nous a demand\u00e9 de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 ces quatre \u00e9tapes, \u00e0 ce que nous en faisons et \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont nous les appliquons dans notre technique sur la piste :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nous nous sommes mis par deux et nous nous sommes interrog\u00e9s sur l’application de chaque \u00e9tape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
